Dr.  Jorge Hernandez specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of Pulmonary Diseases, Critical Care and Sleep Disorders in adult patients. He believes in individualized and preventive care for all of his patients.

• Dr. Hernandez earned his medical degree at Universidad Central Del Este in 1986. 

• Residency at Lincoln Medical Center in Bronx, New York  in 1992.

• Fellowship at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1994.

  

Dr. Hernandez is the medical director of Florida Hospital Apopka Intensive Care Unit, Respiratory Department and Pulmonary Rehab. He is also a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and the South East Thoracic Association.  

 

Specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of COPD, asthma, pulmonary disease and sleep disorders.  Our office performs Pulmonary Function Tests, six-minute walk tests, and more.  

 

He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
